At R. Gwinnell & Sons, we offer a full range of services from our funeral parlours in Colchester, Clacton, Dovercourt, Hadleigh, Ipswich, Manningtree and Thorpe-le-soken, Walton as well as A.R. Clarke in Halstead. Our company’s services include:

  • The removal of the deceased from a local address (24 hours a day)
  • Presentation of the deceased
  • The provision of a coffin of your choice
  • The use of our Chapel of Rest where you can view your loved one in private
  • Confirmation with all third parties, including church or crematorium, in connection with the funeral arrangements
  • The provision of our Rolls-Royce hearse to transport the deceased to the funeral
  • A Rolls-Royce limousine to transport the family
  • The pall bearers and attendances
  • Administration of all charitable donations
  • Detailing of all floral tributes
  • Professional advice and guidance regarding e.g. registration of death, Coroner’s involvement (when required), newspaper announcements, service sheets and memorial cards, plus memorials
